Dream Drops

At altitude there is the ice,
Its paid in time a hefty price.
The ancient glacier rests and waits
Frozen dreams of endless dates.

The dreams are one, when packed in tight
They gathered there amid the night.
What will loose that mighty grip?
A sudden thaw a single drip.

A dream will fall in one quick drop
Slipping from the icy crop.
The dream drops gather on the move
A rivulet, a subtle grove.

They work in tandem criss and cross
Mountain faces feel the loss.
Soon there forms a heavy flow
Dream drops building on the go.

Then a stream the riffles make
The current runs it shifts and shakes.
Many dreams in one bright show
Misty falls, a colored bow.

There below they form a pool
Reflections of the calm, the cool.
A face looks in to see the past
The dreams appear, but do not last.

Take a moment now and then
Let the Dream Drops pull you in
